We were most recently Brooklynites working and living busy, but happy lives. Then – in early 2017 – we decided to upend our lives and move aboard a sailboat to slow-travel the world.
Conner grew up in Frederick MD and spent the majority of her adult life in New York City, where she met Carlito more than ten years ago. She enjoys sipping on nice wine, yoga, and reading the weekend paper, in paper.
Karl is Costa Rican, grew up an expat kid, and enjoys cooking for Conner, taking on a new hobby every ten minutes, and yoga too. His penchant for Wilbur Smith novels as a kid inspired a strong desire to travel and explore the deep blue sea.
Contigo is our 2007 Beneteau 423 sloop, purchased in Annapolis MD in October 2016. She is the owner’s version of the B423, with two cabins and two heads.
